How to Use the Latest Version of PDF.js in a Chrome Extension

    As you may know, the PDF Viewer Chrome extension has not been updated since 2019. As a result, the extension has been using an outdated version of PDF.js, missing crucial performance updates.

    Fortunately, the Smart Paste Chrome extension has ported over the latest version of PDF.js, and you can use it for free!

    This extension can also open local PDFs with PDF.js. All you need to do is set your default PDF viewer to Google Chrome (tutorial here).
